Make plans to join a special event dedicated to deliberating the facts of fracking in North Carolina, one of our state’s most hotly debated issues. This thoughtfully organized forum draws on the expertise of North Carolina legislators, regulators, scientists, engineers, environmental groups,  and business representatives to foster a common understanding of the social, technical and political factors shaping the future of fracking. Don’t miss keynote speaker Seamus McGraw, author of  “The End of Country.”  and such other Forum experts as Frank Yoho, senior vice president of Piedmont Natural Gas, and Mitch Gillespie, assistant secretary of the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources.  $50 for students, $199 for non-students.
