EPIC Building

EPIC is housed in a 200,000 sq. ft., $76 million building, which was dedicated November 2012. It contains classrooms, lecture halls, conference rooms, and research facilities. Research facilities include a clean room, Duke Energy Smart Grid Laboratory, High-Bay Structures Laboratory, Framatome Power Systems Education Laboratory, Power Systems Teaching Laboratory, Siemens Large Manufacturing Lab, Flexible Energy Laboratory, Photovoltaic Research Laboratory, and Renewable Power Laboratory.

EPIC also contains faculty offices for electrical, civil, environmental, and computer engineering departments of the William States Lee College of Engineering.
