EPIC welcomes KIT graduate exchange students

June 4, 2015

On April 1, 2015, EPIC (Energy Production and Infrastructure Center) at UNC Charlotte's William States Lee College of Engineering, welcomed 11 graduate students from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Karlsruhe, Germany as they take part in a six-month research exchange program.

World of Coal Ash Conference, May 4

The World of Coal Ash (WOCA) is an international conference organized by the American Coal Ash Association (ACAA) and the University of Kentucky Center for Applied Energy Research (CAER). The 2015 conference will mark the two organizations' sixth joint biennial meeting. It will again focus on the science, applications and sustainability of coal ash worldwide. As such, it will encompass all aspects of coal combustion products (CCP's) as well as gasification products.
