Building Number 72 is the Energy Production and Infrastructure Center (EPIC) of the Charlotte Research Institute.

Directions to the Energy Production and Infrastructure Center (EPIC):

From Charlotte-Douglas International Airport: Exit airport (you will be on the airport freeway) and follow signs to I-85 via the Billy Graham Parkway. Take I-85 North.

From I-85:  Exit I-85 at Exit 45A, (Harris Blvd.), merge onto Harris Blvd.  Turn Left onto Tryon St. (Hwy. 29).  Turn right at J. W. Clay Blvd. intersection;  Left onto Robert D. Snyder Rd. and right at EPIC Lane and take the first or second entrance into the parking deck.  You can park anywhere inside the deck.  Walk out of the deck and take a right onto the brick pavement..  Come in through the Atrium area which is the first floor and the EPIC office and conference room. The deck is labeled CRI Deck.  Visitors will enter and exit on Level 4 of the parking deck.  Parking charge is $1.00 per half hour or $10.00/day. 

From Interstate 77; Take exit 18 (Harris Blvd., left on Tryon St. (Hwy. 29), right at J.W. Clay Blvd. intersection; left onto Robert D. Snyder Rd. and right at EPIC Lane and take the first or second entrance into the parking deck. From Interstate 485; Take  Tryon St. (Hwy. 29) exit toward Charlotte; left at the fourth traffic light (J.W. Clay Blvd.) into campus, turn left and then right onto EPIC Lane and enter the deck on the right.  You can park anywhere inside the deck.  Walk out of the deck and take a right onto the brick pavement.  Come in through the Atrium area which is the first floor and the EPIC office and conference room.  The deck is labeled CRI Deck.  Visitors will enter and exit on Level 4 of the parking deck.  Parking charge is $1.00 per half hour or $10.00/day. 

To Hotels: Exit I-85 at W.T. Harris Boulevard East (Exit 45A). Hilton: (left on J.M. Keynes Blvd.); Courtyard and Holiday Inn: (right on University Executive Park.) For all others, turn right on Highway 29 (Tryon Street). Residence Inn and Hampton Inn will be on the right, and Homewood suites will be on the left.
